Does anyone have one that they could lend? Please contact Pat V. ![]() ~ Pray for the country of Mexico following the violent uprising of the illegal cartels. ~ Give thanks that as we kneel in the dust and are visualizing ourselves at the foot of the cross, we can reflect on God’s mercy. Indescribable and endless as the sea. ~ Ask that we will never lose the wonder of knowing Christ’s mercy, filling our hearts with “Alleluia” praises. ~ Give thanks that all things are in our all-knowing God’s hands, and nothing can change the future he has in mind for us. ~ Ask for the peace of God to comfort us through the birth and raising of our young, during good health and recovery of health, and the sometimes frustrating wait times for care. And also that our fears of the unknown will be settled. ~ Ask for guidance and opportunities to share our faith in conversations with those we walk beside. And for the wisdom to proclaim the Lord’s gifts either loudly or softly, in his time. Thrive: Congregations: Please pray for a spirit of love, understanding, and collaboration among members within your own congregation. Pray for hearts that yield abundant faithfulness, patience, kindness, and other fruits of the Spirit.World Renew: Provision and Wisdom. Our generous God is the provider of every resource. After a year of deep global budget cuts to humanitarian aid, please ask God with us to provide all that is needed for ongoing ministry. May leaders have wisdom to prioritize well, courage to make hard decisions, and strength to trust in God’s timing. ![]() Special OfferingMarch – Guatemala: Our church has a contract with Resonate Global Missions and we have been supporting a youth center (Centro Alcance) in Guatemala since 2012. April – Canadian Foodgrains Bank: : World Renew receives requests for food and provides help where needed. It ensures that the support provided will improve the lives of the people receiving the assistance – in both the short and long terms. – The mission of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank is to end world hunger. – CFB was created in 1983, now in its 40th year, and includes 15 member church organizations. – In 2018, CFB reached an amazing $1 Billion in assistance given. – There are over 200 community growing projects across Canada, contributing approximately half of the donations received by the Foodgrains Bank. A community growing project usually involves a group of people (farmers, fuel dealers, equipment dealers, local small businesses, grain elevator staff, church congregations) gathering together to farm a plot of land. When they harvest their crop, they sell it on the Canadian market and donate the proceeds to the Foodgrains Bank. – Through its ongoing grant agreement with the Canadian Government, donations used for assistance projects are eligible for a 4:1 match, up to $25 Million per year. ![]() ![]() ![]() Looking for Loving Retirement Homes Shelter Farm has a few beautiful heritage breed hens, about two years old, who are ready to find their forever homes.
